Jubilee Hotel
Following an accident in 2022, I spent 7 months in isolation. As I returned to normal life, I found myself drawn to a group of photos I had taken in the Trodos mountains one Spring. There had been snowfall. Whilst there is no obvious human presence, I had the sense that a presence of some kind might be just imaginable. There may be ghosts of the dancers and the piper of the Stranger paintings. The limited palette and the various shades of blue and green reflect the melancholy of that period.
